Skier Picabo Street and Utah Jazz legends John Stockton and Karl Malone are among the athletes who will be inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame next fall, the U.S. Olympic Committee announced Wednesday.

Now retired and living in Park City, Street won silver and gold medals in Alpine skiing during her three trips to the Olympics, including the 2002 Salt Lake Games in which she competed after recovering from a devastating leg injury. Stockton and Malone, both also retired, were part of the "Dream Team" that won men's basketball gold at the 1992 Barcelona Games in Spain.

Among the others who will be inducted during a ceremony in Chicago on Aug. 12 are sprinter Michael Johnson, basketball player Teresa Edwards, swimmer Mary T. Meagher, and Peter Ueberroth, the former chairman of the U.S. Olympic Committee and president of the committee that staged the landmark 1984 Los Angeles Games.
