Ogden police arrested a man for allegedly holding a woman against her will with a gun early Sunday morning.

The 21-year-old Riverdale man was inside a car with the woman at a bar located at 3119 Wall Ave., said Lt. Mike Ashment. He locked the doors, put the gun to the woman's head and held her down and yelled at her.

A security guard from the bar arrived, and when the man wouldn't open the door, the guard broke the window and took the gun. No one was hurt.

Police arrested the 21-year-old on suspicion of violation of a protective order, domestic violence, aggravated kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a restricted person.

The exact relationship between the two wasn't immediately clear, but they do have children together, Ashment said.
