Fator opens five-year Vegas run

Terry Fator, a comedian known for his impersonations and ventriloquism, opened at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas this week in a 1,265-seat theater where Danny Gans had been performing. The "America's Got Talent" winner does celebrity singing impressions and uses seven puppets backed by a live band.

Featured puppets include Winston the Impersonating Turtle, the lovable Emma Taylor. and Vicki "The Cougar." Impressions include such musical superstars as Cher, Justin Timberlake, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks and the Pussycat Dolls.

The show, scheduled for a five-year-run, begins at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Tickets are $59 to $129. For information, visit www.mirage.com, www.terryfator.com or call 800-627-6667.
