Drugs seized in SLC raid

Police seized drugs and took a 3-year-old into custody during a raid on the business known as "Da Hood Smoke Shop" in Salt Lake City, police said.

About 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, narcotics police and SWAT officers raided the business at 1255 W. 400 South. They say they seized 16 grams of crack cocaine, one gram of powder cocaine and $500 cash. Two people, a 41-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of drug possession with the intent to distribute, and a 3-year-old child was taken into custody.
