Ice cream - Let your taste buds decide who should be president. Baskin-Robbins has introduced two new candidate-inspired flavors and is asking Americans to vote for their favorite. Representing Republican Sen. John McCain is "Straight Talk Crunch," a white chocolate ice cream with caramel, red candies, chocolate pieces and crunchy mixed nuts. For Democratic Sen. Barack Obama, there is "Whirl of Change," a peanut nougat ice cream with chunks of chocolate-covered peanut brittle and a ribbon of caramel. Art - The Body Worlds 3 exhibit opens today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The Leonardo, next to the City Library, 209 E. 500 South, Salt Lake City. Music - Although he looks just like Buddy Holly, Rivers Cuomo is the face and voice of Weezer, a pop-rock band that arrived in the early 1990s but then dissolved after their dark masterpiece, "Pinkerton." The band has been prolific since reuniting in 2000 with singles like "Pork and Beans," "Island in the Sun," "Beverly Hills" and "Hash Pipe." Tom DeLonge of Blink-182, will open for Weezer with his new band Angels & Airwaves. Tokyo Police Club, recent visitors to Urban Outfitters at The Gateway, is also on the bill. Film/lecture - The King's English's latest "Out of the Book" event features a presentation of "State by State: A Panoramic Portrait of America," a compilation of 50 essays, edited by Matt Weiland and Sean Wilsey. The presentation will include the screening of a 42-minute film featuring 15 of the book's contributing authors, followed by a panel discussion with historian Will Bagley, author Emma Lou Thayne and TV personality and University of Utah communications instructor Craig Wirth.
