Classical 89 will air a special concert, originally presented at the Cathedral of the Madeleine on June 27, featuring the five organists of the Salt Lake Tabernacle - Richard Elliott, Clay Christiansen, Andrew Unsworth, Bonnie Goodliffe and Linda Margetts.

Strings attached

Weber State University's String Project kicks off its new season program with a meet and greet. The project is designed to teach and train students in the Ogden School District how to play instruments. Classes run Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 5 p.m. in the instrument rehearsal room on the WSU campus in Ogden.

Jazz stars

Jazz group MB3 will give a concert as part of Utah State University's Caine School of the Arts series. Musicians Corey Christiansen, Vich Juris, Mike Christiansen, Danny Gottlieb and Aaron Miller will perform songs off their CD "MB3: Jazz Hits Vol. 1."

Odyssey of rhythm

Brigham Young University will host Taal Yatra, an innovative Indian musical ensemble. The concert, "An Odyssey into Rhythm," creates a modern and fresh sound using drum sets and keyboards that symbolize the synergy of several streams of Indian music.
