The Los Angeles Angels traded first baseman/outfielder Efren Navarro to Baltimore for cash, ending the highly productive Salt Lake Bees era of his career. Navarro spent parts of five seasons with the Bees, batting .316 in 552 games and establishing some franchise records that likely will never be broken, including 660 hits and 307 RBIs. Navarro, 29, worked his way up in the Angels’ organization as a 50th-round draft choice and appeared in 130 games for the big-league team, mostly over the past two seasons. He batted .246 with the …
