Posted: 1:30 PM- Gov. Jon Huntsman wants to increase the number of visitors to Utah by 25 percent in the next four years.

Huntsman set a goal Wednesday of bringing 25 million visitors to the state by 2012.

He made the remarks during the state's annual conference on tourism.

Huntsman says that in the past three years, the number of visitors to Utah has increased from 17 million to 20 million.

Huntsman has made boosting tourism in the state one of his economic development priorities. He says the state has made a lot of improvements when it comes to making the state more attractive to visitors, but some changes are still needed.
