Posted: 8:40 AM- OGDEN -- If you are an entrepreneur looking for start up money you may have to make your pitch to some business students at Weber State University.
The students, all marketing majors at the school, are featured on the cover of Business Week Magazine.
The nationally distributed weekly featured the Weber Entrepreneurs Association.
The association was formed several years ago when a company called Grow Utah Ventures asked the students to help it determine which start-up businesses it should help fund.
The students say they have heard hundreds of business ideas and sometimes surprise company representatives with their tough questions.
The goal is to find new companies that are from Utah and are willing to stay here. The students say they also gain valuable experience in what it might take to start their own companies someday.
