Murray's Fashion Place Mall is the new home of Nexia Holdings Inc.'s fourth Black Chandelier store in Utah.

Dubbed the Magical Funhouse Flagship Store, the 1,400-square-foot outlet celebrated its grand opening Friday.

Nexia President Richard Surber said the new store, located in the space formerly occupied by a shoe store, will feature new spring clothing, jewelry, art and collectibles lines sold under the Black Chandelier label.

The growing chain of stores seeks to fill an edgy, high-fashion niche, aiming at the 15-35 age group. Chief designer Jared Gold says the marketing of his creations is destined for many more mall locales with at least 50 new stores planned nationwide in the next five years.

Utah-based Nexia also operates Black Chandelier stores at downtown Salt Lake City's The Gateway and Trolley Square, as well as one in Provo.
