Intermountain Medical Group has announced that Spencer Scoville has opened his practice at Intermountain Richfield Family Practice. Scoville was most recently an emergency room physician, and will be focusing on family medicine.

Da Vinci Advertising and Marketing has hired Jessica Denny as public relations manager and Liz Stucki as a designer/art director. Denny previously worked for Love Communications and Prezents Inc. Stucki was formerly the art director for Intermountain Healthcare's southwest region.

Sara A. Anderson has joined the law firm of Thorpe North and Western. She will assist clients with intellectual property law, particularly the preparation and procurement of patents in the fields of engineering, chemistry and materials science.

AARP Utah has announced the addition of four members to its executive council: Pat Gamble-Hovey, a clinical social worker and community activist; Kent Abel, an educator for forty years; Lou Jean Flint, an educator and a manager of a family business for ten years; and Betty Lynne Davis, a clinical social worker.

The Sandy Chamber of Commerce has named Daniel Flores as chairman of the board. Flores has 25 years of banking experience, and is a business development officer at Bank of American Fork.

Gary Daynes has joined Westminster College as the director of the Center for Civic Engagement. Daynes will also be an associate professor of history, and previously worked at BYU as coordinator of the Faculty Service-Learning Community of Practice and associate director of the Freshman Academy.

Keller Williams Realty Salt Lake City has added Kroger Menzer to its team. Menzer has six years of experience with mortgages, formerly at Miller and Company Real Estate Services and USA Real Estate.

Pam Foote has been elected president of the Utah chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. Foote is currently the structural division sales manager for Steel Encounters, a construction company she has been with for almost 20 years.

Snapp Norris Group, a Salt Lake City public relations firm, has hired Ann Norman as a senior public relations associate and Greg DeLong and Kyle Henderson as associates. Norman worked formerly with the United Nations Development Program in the west African country of Sierra Leone, DeLong was with Tahitian Noni International and Henderson was a customer life cycle supervisor at Spring Communications.

St. Mark's Hospital has hired three new employees: Brenda Farnsworth, director of quality services; Pam Fogle, director of marketing and public relations; and Jesse Trujillo, chief information officer. Farnsworth previously worked as the assistant administrator for quality and education at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. Fogle was formerly the director of marketing at Ogden Regional Medical Center and Brigham City Community Hospital. Trujilo previously worked for Hospital Corporation of America in information Technology Services.

Business Loan Express has hired Stephanie Wallace as a business development officer. Wallace has 18 years banking experience, most recently as a vice president and commercial loan officer with Barnes Banking Co.

WingateWeb, an event management software company, has hired Staci Clark as vice president of client services. Clark was formerly the director of account services at WingateWeb.

John Christensen has been sworn in as a member of the board of directors for the National Veterans Business Development Corp. He is the owner of Salt Lake City-based VJ Environmental, an environmental service firm, and Round Window Mouldings.com.
