USANA Health Sciences Inc., a West Valley City manufacturer and direct seller of nutritional supplement and personal-care products, has made a large renewable energy purchase from Rocky Mountain Power. The company is buying 75,000 kilowatt-hours of Blue Sky wind energy per month, which is enough to offset 900 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

Ogden-based America First Credit Union will open a branch in October inside the Riverdale Wal-Mart, 4848 S. 900 West, Riverdale.

Hamlet Homes has begun work on a mixed-use development, Waverly Station, located between 3700 and 3900 South in South Salt Lake. Over the next 2 1/2 years, Hamlet plans to develop 109 townhomes and 38 condominium units on the site.

Bajio Mexican Grill, based in American Fork, has opened a location at 160 E. University Parkway, Orem. The Mexican restaurant chain has 26 stores in Utah, Oregon, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Indiana and Texas, with at least 10 more scheduled to open by the end of 2006.

Radisson Inn Park City has changed its name to Park City Peaks Hotel, terminating a nearly 20-year affiliation with Radisson Hotels Worldwide. Dennis Cahill, president of Alta Hotel Group, which owns the property, said the decision was made because the Radisson name is more often identified with business travel than leisure travel, on which the hotel is focused.
