The awards were handed out during a luncheon at the Little America Hotel and Towers.
Started in 1975, Cooper Roberts Simonsen was the first Utah design firm to specialize in the preservation and reuse of historic buildings. The company has expanded into urban design, landscape architecture and interior design.
Other winners and awards were:
* McKinnon-Mulherin Inc., which received the chambers Entrepreneurial Success award. The company, owned by Shauna Bona, Kathleen Reddy and Regina Davis, provides communications consulting services. It was established in 1997.
* Eye Care for Kids Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, has provided 5,000 people with eye screenings, examinations and glasses in the last five years. It sees about 50 patients a week.
* Latitude Restaurant Group received the Minority Small Business award. The company started in 1991 when owner Gene Kwon bought the Mikado Downtown restaurant. Since then, Kwon has opened several restaurants in Salt Lake and Park City.
Keynote speaker at the luncheon was Ellis Ivory, founder of Ivory Homes, one of the biggest home builders in Utah.
