Salt Lake City-based Whipple Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has selected Discrete Wireless MARCUS to provide GPS tracking systems for its technician vehicles. The technology will allow dispatchers to find technicians more easily and increase response time, Whipple said.

Wasatch Acquisitions and Capital Inc. and Development Associates Inc. have announced a partnership to build a master-planned housing development of several hundred acres on Salt Lake County's southwest bench. A ruling earlier this month in Utah's Third District Court allowed landowners in Bluffdale to seek annexation of their land to neighboring Herriman, which would allow the development.

MIRO Industries Inc., a Salt Lake City-based rooftop support manufacturing company, has announced a partnership with Utah Plastics Group, also based in Salt Lake City. For close to 10 years, MIRO has been a customer of Utah Plastics Group, which manufactures custom molded products.
