Trystan Smith and Scott Martin have been named shareholders in the law firm of Snow, Christensen & Martineau. Smith serves on the board of the Multicultural Legal Center and was president of the Utah Minority Bar Association from 1999 to 2000. Martin has been with the firm since 1997 and primarily represents water user associations and municipalities in water-related issues.

Maren Arnell has joined The Storey Agency, a public relations firm, as an account coordinator. She previously worked at ABC 4 in the local traffic department on advertising sales.

America First Credit Union has named Kara England market manager of the West Valley City branch and named Glenda Burnside manager of its operation services department. England has been with the credit union for 15 years, Burnside for 25.

Richard Young has been promoted from regional manager to senior vice president of operations at Kleinfelder Inc., a San Diego-based engineering consulting firm. Young, also named division manager of the company's Western Division, is based in the firm's Salt Lake City office.

Nan Bassett has been named a shareholder of Kipp and Christian, P.C. She received her law degree from the University of Utah and practices employment and professional liability defense law at the firm.

Steve Creswell has joined McDonald Financial Group's Salt Lake City office as vice president and financial advisor. Creswell has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Tanya Beard has joined Holland & Hart as an associate in the firm's litigation department. She previously was a judicial law clerk in the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. District Court for Utah, and was a deputy Salt Lake County district attorney.
