Twenty Utah companies of various sizes will receive 2010 "Work/Life Awards" from the Utah Department of Workforce Services on June 22.

Four of the recipients have been honored at least five times before with the annual award, which recognizes firms that treat their employees well, recognizing the importance of people's lives away from work. The repeat winners include two large companies, 1-800 Contacts and Nicholas & Co., Inc.; one medium-sized company, Futura Industries, Clearfield; and one small organization, Utah Foster Care Foundation.

Other winning firms were:

Large • Automated Data Processing, Inc. and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Medium • Ace Disposal, Clearlink, CyberSource Corp., Goldenwest Credit Union, Intermountain Financial Group/Mass Mutual, Marriott Vacation Club International Owner Services, Pepsi Beverages Co., Spillman Technologies, Tanner LC and Thomas Arts.

Small • Cirque Corp., Executech, Fehr & Peers and The Intrepid Group.

"The success of Work/Life Award-winning companies shows up in many forms, including improved productivity, customer relations, retention, recruitment and marketing," said Lynette Rasmussen, director of the department's Office of Work & Family Life.

Awards will be presented at the Sheraton City Centre Hotel in Salt Lake City. To register, go to jobs.utah.gov, or call 801-468-0112.
