The Utah Technology Council has selected Christine Archibald , president and CEO of ManagementPlus, to join the UTC Board of Trustees. Her Salt Lake City-based software company develops practice-management solutions for the health care industry.

Bill Hoddenbach , vice president of Million Air Salt Lake City's Maintenance Department, has been named chairman of the National Air Transportation Association Maintenance and System Technology Committee. He assumed the post at NATA's April national conference.

Constance E. Smith has joined Miller and Company Real Estate Services. She has more than 16 years experience as a full-time Realtor and has the Green Residential Real Estate designation. She also is a member of NAR's Green Resource Council.

M. Curt Howell has been appointed president of Humana's Arizona and Utah Commercial market operations. He will now lead the company's offering of a broad range of commercial products, including medical plans and specialty benefits, in Arizona and Utah.

Jan Winniford , vice president for Student Affairs at Weber State University, was recently honored as a "Pillar of the Profession" by the National Association of Student Affairs Administrators. The award recognizes individuals of professional distinction "who have served as leaders, teachers and scholars in student affairs" and in their community.

The Salt Lake Community College Alumni Association recognized Greg Cazier of Reaveley Engineers & Associates as a 2009-10 Distinguished Alumnus. He served on the SLCC Program Advisory Committee for the Engineering Drafting & Design Technology program for eight years and the College Advisory Council for seven years.

Sanda Flint has been named Paralegal of the Year by the Paralegal Division of the Utah State Bar. She has worked at Strong & Hanni as a paralegal for 10 years and is well respected in the legal community. Flint will be honored Thursday at a luncheon hosted by the Bar division and the Legal Assistants Association of Utah.

James E. Bowns of Cedar City received the Sustained Lifetime Achievement Award at the Society for Range Management's 63rd Annual Meeting held in Denver. The Sustained Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes members for long-term contributions to the Society and range management.
