Product » Coby Electronics Rechargable Batteries, sold with portable DVD/CD/MP3 players at discount, electronics, music, toy, office supply stores, and other retailers nationwide from January 2007 through September 2009 for between $140 and $175.

Problem » The rechargeable batteries can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Consumers should immediately remove the recalled batteries from the unit and contact Coby Electronics for a free replacement. For more information, call Coby Electronics at 877-305-2629.

Vehicle » 2008-'09 Nissan Rogue.

Problem » A screw in the steering gear housing cover may loosen over time and could fall out. If large steering inputs are made with the cover screw missing, the pinion shaft may come out of the steering gear, resulting in a complete loss of steering and control.
