Stephen R. Covey, author of several books that include The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People , will be inducted Nov. 14 into the hall of fame of the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum.

Covey, 77, will be honored at a ceremony during the forum's hall of fame dinner and fall social beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Provo, at Building A on the Novell Inc. campus, 1860 S. 180 East.

Covey is an authority on leadership techniques. He also is a professional speaker, author and organizational consultant.

Covey is cofounder and vice chairman of FranklinCovey Co., a professional-services firm based in Salt Lake City. The company was established when the Covey Leadership Center merged with Franklin Quest in 1997.

Time magazine named Covey one of the 25 most influential Americans in 1996.

The induction ceremony is free to forum members and spouses. Nonmember fee is $50 to attend.
