Utah Whole Foods shoppers have contributed nearly $8,000 to the School Lunch Revolution since the campaign began this summer in an effort to transform students' meals across the nation.

Shoppers may help until Sept. 30 by purchasing donation coupons at check-out stands or by visiting www.thelunchbox.org.

The program, called The Lunch Box, is a Web-based portal that provides information and tools to help schools and school districts to make good food available for children.
