$5.8 million » in cash and products from Smith's Food & Drug stores to more than 1,400 non-profit organizations in seven Western states, including $3 million to schools and charities in Utah. Those include Primary Children's Medical Center, Utah Food Bank Services, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Salt Lake County's Million Tree program and Junior Achievement.

Kenworth truck, 1,000 pounds of food » to Utah Food Bank Services, from C. R. England transportation company in West Valley City.

Clothing bins » set up at LDS Hospital's south parking lot, 8th Avenue and C Street in Salt Lake City, to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah groups in Salt Lake, Utah, Summit, Wasatch, Washington, Davis and Weber counties.
