Moab is listed as one of the West's "20 best small towns ... communities that inspire daydreams," in the March edition of Sunset magazine.

The southeastern Utah community is featured on the table of contents page with a photograph of the Tower of Babel in Arches National Park and a quote from rock climber Steph Davis: "Moab is the most beautiful place in the world, and it is just the right size."

Moab was singled out as the West's best "Outdoorsy burg," accompanied by Lander, Wyo., Hood River, Ore., Downieville, Calif. and Kamuela, Hawaii.

The magazine also listed Salt Lake City among five "earth friendly" spots, along with Corvallis, Ore., Boulder, Colo., and Palo Alta and Truckee, Calif.

Sunset is a magazine targeted in Utah Office of Tourism advertising campaigns because its readers fit a demographic group deemed likely to visit the state.
