A career expo is set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday at the South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State St., in Sandy.
The event will endeavor to match job-seekers with employers at a variety of booths where the latter will provide information and answer questions. A series of seminars also will be presented on topics such as improving interview skills, building a résumé and employee benefits.
Exhibitors will have a continuing presence through a 30-day virtual career fair online at UtahJobExpo.com.
Admission and parking are free.
The event is a sponsored by The Salt Lake Tribune; MediaOne, the company that prints and handles the business operations of The Tribune and Deseret News; Yahoo Hot Jobs; and the Utah Department of Workforce Services.
