Utah State women's soccer coach Heather Cairns has announced the signing of eight players to National Letters of Intent.

Six of the new recruits are from Utah high schools. The group includes midfielder Brinley Adams (Clearfield), defender Olivia Burnett (Timpanogos), midfielder Kaitlin La (Bingham), forward Alecia Robinson (Mountain View), midfielder Kanyan Ward (Mountain Crest) and defender Imelda Williams (Timpanogos).

Utah State also added out-of-state players Mealii Enos from Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Maggie Richey of Cedarcrest High School in Duvall, Wash. Enos is a defender. Richey is a goalkeeper.

• Despite missing her senior season because of an injury, Adams finished her high school career with 58 goals and 50 assists.

• Burnett was a four-year letter-winner at Timpanogos, which won state titles in 2013 and 2014. She anchored a defense that allowed only 11 goals last season. She was named to the 2015 All-Tribune Team.

• La scored 19 goals during her prep career at Bingham. She was a two-time all-region selection.

• Robinson earned four letters while playing at Mountain Crest in Orem. She scored 42 goals in her career, including 10 as a senior.

• Ward is a Cache Valley native. She was a second-team All-State selection as a senior. The Mustangs reached the state quarterfinals last season.

• Williams, another player from Timpanogos, scored seven goals during her senior season. She is a two-time All-State selection.

• Enos starts her senior season in Colorado this spring. She is a two-time all-conference pick and helped Thunder Ridge reach the state finals last season.

• Richey is a four-year letter-winner who allowed only four goals in 20 games last season. Cedarcrest played for the 2014 state championship.

Utah State went 10-8-2 last season, including 5-5-1 in the Mountain West Conference. The Aggies return nine starters.
