One remaining game. Two healthy quarterbacks.

Who will start?

Utah State coach Matt Wells isn't saying.

As the countdown to the Aggies' meeting with Akron in the 2015 Idaho Famous Potato Bowl continues, Wells told reporters at his weekly press conference Monday that senior Chuckie Keeton and sophomore Kent Myers are "practicing well. There's a good chance you're going to see both of them."

Asked whether Keeton or Myers will start against the Zips, Wells would not commit to one over the other.

"They're both going to have a role," he said. "We've got two good quarterbacks and they're both healthy, so they'll both have their role. Akron will have to prepare for both of them."

Utah State's situation at quarterback has been an ongoing story.

After playing only nine game over the previous two years because of injuries, Keeton started the first three this season. But he suffered a sprained knee in a 31-17 loss at Washington on Sept. 19.

Myers stepped in and started the next eight games, but he injured his shoulder during the first series against Nevada on Nov. 21.

By then, Keeton was healthy. He replaced Myers, led the Aggies to a 31-27 comeback win over the Wolfpack and started the regular-season finale against BYU.

As far as possibly splitting time with Myers in the Potato Bowl, Keeton said, "It's out of my control. I'll do my best to be prepared for this game and, whatever they want to do, it's not really up to me."

Utah State and Akron play Dec. 22 at Albertsons Stadium in Boise. Kickoff is 1:30 p.m.
