I've been receiving some questions regarding the status of receiver Hunter Sharp, who posted some interesting tweets this week that sounded like he might be thinking of leaving school early in the hopes he is drafted in the NFL.

Tweets such as "I didn't sleep last night, I just thought about what it takes to go 1st round," and "Decisions to make with so little time. I want to go but I need to stay and get that degree for moms," may have made some Aggie fans uneasy that they might be losing one of their best players.

However, I've been told by school administrators that Sharp was just having a 'bad twitter day,' and has no plans to leave the Aggies.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Sharp finished the 2014 season as the Aggies leading receiver with 63 receptions for 918 yards and seven touchdowns.

Whether Sharp was really thinking of leaving early and coaches talked some sense into him or if he was referring to other plans, Sharp could definitely benefit from another year of college ball.

Better yet, do as mom says and get that degree in sociology, make her proud.
