Poeltl was named a second-team All American by bothhttp://collegebasketball.ap.org/article/valentine-hield-lead-aps-all-america-team";> the Associated Press and http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/25534690/cbs-sports-2015-16-college-basketball-all-america-team-coach-of-the-year";>CBS Sports on Tuesday, http://bit.ly/1QVP2pw";>capping a monster season in which he led Utah in scoring (17.2 ppg), rebounding (9.1 rpg), blocks (1.6 bpg) and shooting 64.6 percent from the field for the No. 7 mark in the country.

The Austrian native has previously appeared on All American lists from ESPN, The Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, NBC Sports and USA Today. He also made the finalist or semifinalist lists for the Wooden, Robertson, Naismith http://bit.ly/21mPMXj";>and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Awards.

The latest commitment was http://bit.ly/22VKRPI";>6-foot-10 forward Tyler Rawson of Salt Lake Community College.

That search appears to be extending internationally this week, as http://trendbasket.net/university-of-utah-omer-faruk-icin-istanbula-geliyor-ncaa/";>Trendbasket reports that the Utes (through a rough Google translation into English) will come to take a look at five-star center Omer Yurtseven this week. Coach Larry Krystkowiak's whereabouts aren't officially known, but Utah athletics did confirm that Krystkowiak is traveling abroad to recruit this week.
