Wrapping up how Utah's players on active NFL rosters performed in Week One — plus the last known updates for some other guys you might be wondering about. Let us know in the comments if we missed something.

San Francisco wide receiver DRES ANDERSON • The rookie Anderson was placed on the injured reserve due to a knee injury and will likely not play this season.

Minnesota running back MATT ASIATA • After Asiata's nine-touchdown season in 2014, the return of Adrian Peterson means Asiata and Jerick McKinnon are likely to split backup carries. Still, Asiata apparently has enough respect from his Monday night opponent that the 49ers tasked crossover rugby superstar Jarryd Hayne with emulating him in practice.

Jacksonville guard ZANE BEADLES • Beadles extended his consecutive game streak to 81 — with 79 starts — but the Jaguars fell 20-9 to the visiting Panthers. The Florida Times-Union caught up with Beadles about the offseason position battle that never was and how Beadles has taken steps toward justifying his five-year, $30 million deal.

Oakland guard TONY BERGSTROM • Bergstrom again made the Raiders' 53-man roster and is reportedly backing up center Rodney Hudson. He was active for the first time since 2012 in a 33-13 loss to the Bengals.

Carolina linebacker BRIAN BLECHEN • An undrafted free agent, Blechen signed with the Panthers practice squad after cuts.

Miami guard SAM BRENNER • After his spell with the practice squad, the Dolphins signed Brenner the week of their 17-10 season-opening victory against Washington, with Brenner appearing for the first time since 2013.

Tampa Bay wide receiver KAELIN CLAY • The sixth-round pick didn't survive the Buccaneers' final cuts, but he was signed to their practice squad.

Houston tight end ANTHONY DENHAM • Nursing a sprained shoulder, Denham was placed on the injured reserve after clearing waivers and will likely not play this season.

Dallas wide receiver REGGIE DUNN • No word since he was waived by the Cowboys last month.

Houston defensive end TEVITA FINAU • No updates since Finau was cut by the Texans earlier this month.

Oakland linebacker JACOBY HALE • No word since Hale was cut by the Raiders in mid-summer.

Pittsburgh defensive end JOE KRUGER • No word since Kruger was cut by the Steelers earlier this month.

Cleveland outside linebacker PAUL KRUGER • After a career-high 11 sacks in 2014 — the most by a Brown since 2006 — Kruger was held sackless while recording four tackles in the Browns' 31-10 loss to the Jets. He spoke to team media about why things didn't work out in East Rutherford.

Carolina defensive tackle STAR LOTULELEI • Lotulelei sat out the Panthers' victorious debut with a right foot injury that sidelined him throughout the preseason, but Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he's likely to play against the Texans next week.

Miami cornerback BRICE MCCAIN • McCain continued the fantastic form he showed last year in Pittsburgh, stealing a Kirk Cousins pass to Pierre Garcon with one hand and stymieing a late drive from the host Redskins in a 17-10 Dolphins win. He also finished with six tackles.

Here are three angles from the Miami New Times.

Oakland cornerback KEITH MCGILL • McGill played but did not record any stats in the Raiders' loss. The Los Angeles County native told The Orange County Register that he doesn't concern himself with the team's possible move to his hometown.

Miami linebacker KOA MISI • Playing strong side after spending last season at middle, Misi reached double digits in tackles for the third time in his career, finishing with 11 against the Redskins. Misi also recently joined Twitter, for those interested.

Denver tight end JAKE MURPHY • No news on Murphy since the Broncos waived him earlier this month.

Cleveland outside linebacker NATE ORCHARD • The rookie second-rounder was inactive for the Browns' opener, due to a back injury.

San Diego defensive tackle TENNY PALEPOI • Palepoi was placed on the injured reserve with a foot fracture that will cost him his season after he fought his way to a place on the Chargers' 53-man roster last year and finished with 16 tackles.

Tennessee right tackle JEREMIAH POUTASI • Poutasi started at right tackle in his first NFL game, helping the Titans to a 42-14 thrashing of the Buccaneers

New York Jets outside linebacker TREVOR REILLY • Reilly had his first career sack after 20 at the U., beating his man with a wide, circular angle that Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel stepped right into as the pocket collapsed, and making it all the more memorable by forcing a fumble.

Philadelphia cornerback ERIC ROWE • Rowe will make his debut Monday night against the Falcons, said to be still searching for his role but able to play nickel, outside corner and safety.

Miami defensive end DERRICK SHELBY • Shelby finished with one tackle and, reportedly, quite the shiner in the Dolphins' victory.

New England defensive tackle SEALVER SILIGA • After playing just seven games due to injury but finishing with a career-high 32 tackles in 2014, Siliga made three stops in the Patriots' 28-21 league opener against the Steelers. The Boston Herald said Siliga had "good and bad" moments in the game.

Kansas City quarterback ALEX SMITH • Smith continued his bizarre streak without touchdowns to wide receiver — Dec. 8, 2013 was his last — but was nonetheless one of Week One's top performers under center, finishing 22-for-33 for 243 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs' 27-20 win over the Texans.

Kansas City cornerback SEAN SMITH • Smith is suspended three weeks for an offseason DUI.

Baltimore wideout STEVE SMITH SR. • His 2015 season began with a whimper compared to 2014, when he had 101 or more yards in four of the first six weeks. Smith was targeted seven times but made just two catches for 13 yards as the Ravens fell 19-13 to the Broncos. He blames himself.

Detroit cornerback R.J. STANFORD • No word on Stanford since he was released by the Lions.

Atlanta defensive tackle PAUL SOLIAI • The Falcons open up Monday night against the Eagles.

San Diego safety ERIC WEDDLE • Playing with something extra to prove after the Chargers would not grant him the extension he wanted in the offseason, Weddle finished with nine tackles and two pass deflections in a 33-28 win against the visiting Lions. We try to show you the highlights, so the occasional lowlight is only fair. Lions rookie Ameer Abdullah is one of the few who can say they've made Weddle look like this.
