For those of us who enjoy live theater but can't make the trek to New York City every year, the Tony Awards (Sunday, 7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) offer us a glimpse inside Broadway.

This year's show will feature performances by the casts of Tony-nominated shows "Bandstand," "Come From Away," "Dear Evan Hansen," "Falsettos," "Groundhog Day The Musical," "Hello, Dolly!," "Miss Saigon," "Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812" and "War Paint."

Cool!

There will also be performances by Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr. and the Radio City Rockettes.

Kevin Spacey is hosting, and the list of stars scheduled to appear includes Scott Bakula, Sara Bareilles, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bloom, Glenn Close, Stephen Colbert, Brian d'Arcy James, Cynthia Erivo, Tina Fey, Sally Field, Sutton Foster, Josh Gad, Whoopi Goldberg, Josh Groban, Jonathan Groff, Mark Hamill, Taraji P. Henson, Chris Jackson, Allison Janney, Scarlett Johansson, Anna Kendrick, Keegan-Michael Key, Nick Kroll, John Legend, John Lithgow, Bette Midler, Patina Miller, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Mulaney, David Oyelowo, Chaz Palminteri, Sarah Paulson, Ben Platt, Lea Salonga, Tom Sturridge, Tommy Tune and Olivia Wilde.

We'll be seeing the Tonys on a one-hour tape-delay in this time zone, so if you want to be surprised by who wins, stay off social media.
