Melissa McCarthy is hosting "Saturday Night Live" this week (Saturday, 10:30 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) — so how far into the show do you think it will be before she appears as White House press secretary Sean Spicer hiding in the bushes?

I'm guessing it will probably be the cold open of the show. But we'll see.

• On Friday, "I Love Dick" starts streaming on Amazon. This new series comes to us from the creator/writer/producer of "Transparent," Jill Soloway.

Based on Chris Kraus' novel, it revolves around a filmmaker, Chris (Katheryn Hahn), who has always taken a back seat to her husband, Sylvére (Griffin Dunne). They get caught up in the intellectual community in Marfa, Texas — specifically, they're drawn into the orbit of artist Dick Jarrett (Kevin Bacon).

Like "Transparent," this is a show you'll find yourself getting caught up in … almost against your will.
