This weekend on TV: And the winner is ... ABC, which airs the Oscars

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting "The Academy Awards" (6:30 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) — and I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing how he does.

ABC also has "On the Red Carpet at the Oscars" (3 p.m., Ch. 4); "Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live from the Red Carpet" (5 p.m., Ch. 4); "On the Red Carpet at the Oscars" (9:30 p.m., Ch. 4); and "Live from Hollywood: The After Party with Anthony Anderson" (10:35 p.m., Ch. 4)

Over on E!, they'll be doing Oscars coverage from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and 9:30-11 p.m.
