Archie Andrews is in trouble in this week's episode of "Riverdale" (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30).

Betty finds out about his illicit relationship with Miss Grundy. And her mother, Alice — who seems to have a pathological hatred of Archie — reads the info in Betty's diary and sets out to destroy him.

By the way, Betty's last name is Cooper. And her mother's first name is Alice.

So Betty is the daughter of — Alice Cooper?!?!?

Weird.
