Tuesday on TV: Are you a sci-fi fan? You should be watching ‘The Expanse’

"The Expanse" (11 p.m., Syfy) is the best outer-space, science fiction show on television in many years.

Set 200 years in the future, much of the solar system nas been colonized. And tensions could lead to war between Earth and Mars.

James Holden (Steven Strait) and his crew — along with detective Joe Miller (Thomas Jane) — have been investigating the disappearance of a rich man's daughter, and that had led them into the middle of a huge conspiracy and a danger that threatens all of humanity.

As Season 2, things grow even more tense and the potential danger from the protomolecule grows larger.

I've read all the "Expanse" books, and Season 1 was an excellent adaptation. No doubt because the authors are writers on the series.

If you're a sci-fi fan — and even if you're not — you should be watching this show.
