If you give the new TBS series "Search Party" (9 and 9:30 p.m., TBS) a few episodes, it just might grow on you.

It's weird. It starts quite slowly. But it turns into something rather interesting and quite funny.

And you don't have to wait too many days, because TBS is airing the entire 10-episode first season this week. Episodes premiere at 9 and 9:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Ally Shawkat ("Arrested Development") stars as Dory, a twentysomething who is pretty much drifting through life. She sees a missing poster for an old college classmate, Chantal, and becomes obsessed with what happened to the woman … who was really more acquaintance than friend.

Dory eventually convinces her annoying, hipster friends (Brandon Michael Hall, John Early, Meredith Hagner, and John Reynolds) to help her search for the missing Chantal.

If you're a Millennial whose feelings get hurt when your generation is portrayed as self-absorbed and entitled, you might want to avoid "Search Party." The characters here are basically awful people.

But if you have a sense of humor, this just might make you laugh. Eventually.

You'll have to give it some time, however.
