On this week's episode of "Designated Survivor" (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), there's a shooting at the White House during a governors' summit. And that throws President Kirkman's plans to elect a new Congress into turmoil.

Which makes sense, because, of course, shortly after the Capitol building has been blown to bits security would be that lax at the White House.

Ugh.

(Of course, given what's happening in the real world, this seems ... quaint.)

Yes, I'm still conflicted about this show. I can't decide if I like it or hate it, because I like parts of it and hate other parts of it.
