Episodes 2 and 3 of "Designated Survivor" (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) helped calm my fears about this show — my concerns that it would be overwhelmed by foolish plotlines about attempts to overthrow the new president.

Tonight's episode, however, makes me worry once again.

Not only does President Kirkman learn who was behind the attack on the U.S. Capitol; not only does he have to consider going to war — but there are people within the military and the government plotting get him out of office.

Ugh.

Four episodes in, I still haven't reached any conclusions about whether "Designated Survivor" is worth watching.
