Try not to get too excited, but tonight it's the Vice Presidential Debate (7 p.m., Channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 11, 13, CNN, C-SPAN, FNC, MSNBC).

Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine (Hillary Clinton's running mate) debates Republican Gov. Mike Pence (Donald Trump's running mate).

As a result of debate coverage, a lot of regular shows are pre-empted — and, in this time zone, a bunch more are airing later than usual.

Elsewhere tonight …

• Baseball playoffs (6 p.m., TBS): American League wildcard — Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays

• "The Flash" (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): When last we saw Barry, he had just jumped back in time to save his mother — to prevent the Reverse Flash from murdering her. When Season 3 begins, he's back in the present, but things have changed a lot. There's a new villain in town, and Kid Flash is trying to protect the city. And not everything is as great as Barry thought it would be.

• "If Loving You Is Wrong" (7 and 9 p.m., OWN): Edward oversteps his authority in front of Steven.

• "No Tomorrow" (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): In the series premiere, an uptight woman falls for a free-spirited guy who believes in living for today — because he thinks the planet is about to be destroyed by an asteroid. It's not great, but it has possibilities. Read more about it here.

• "Too Close to Home" (8 and 10 p.m. OWN): Bonnie shares a memory with Anna.

• "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (8:30 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): In the conclusion of a two-parter, the team take a road trip to Florida to help Jake and Holt take down Jimmy Figgis.

• "NCIS" (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The team investigates a marine sergeant's tragic fall from a building.

• "Dancing with the Stars" (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Another elimination.

• "New Girl" (9 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Jess goes camping with couples Schmidt and Cece and Winston and Aly.

• "Halt and Catch Fire" (11 p.m., AMC): Donna, Bos and Diane go on the road to build support for Mutiny.

• "Atlanta" (11 p.m., FX): Van gets jealous.

• "Aftermath" (11 p.m., Syfy): The Copelands search for their daughter while facing solar flares, demons and beasts that they had thought were mythological.

• "Chrisley Knows Best" (11 p.m., USA): Todd takes the family to a rustic resort for the Fourth of July.
