If you blinked you missed her, but a Utah native made it through the blind auditions on Monday's episode of "The Voice."

Of course, unless you actually know Belle Jewel, you wouldn't have known she's from Utah. From American Fork, to be specific.

On Monday's installment of the NBC singing competition, Jewel was part of a montage — a segment on the show that quickly runs through several singers while host Carson Daly does a quick voiceover. Viewers heard about 4 seconds of Jewel singing "Don't You Forget About Me" and were told that "18-year-old indie artist Belle Jewel from Brooklyn" had joined Alicia Keys' team.

"Belle Jewel chose a Simple Minds song and made it into this very 1930s swing," Keys said. "She's her own person. That's the type of team I want to build.

We'll be checking in with Jewel later this week. In the meantime, here's her NBC bio:

"Belle's parents raised her on alternative music, which shaped her musical style. She started voice lessons at 11 and competed in different vocal events.

"With her mom working as her manager, Belle started booking acoustic gigs at coffee shops and getting paid gigs by 15. After high school, Belle received a full scholarship to BYU where she went for a year pursuing psychology and music.

"She decided to leave college to pursue music full-time. Belle recently moved to Brooklyn and has been busking - she feels like a small fish in a big pond.

"When Belle was 16 found another talent — henna tattoos — and started her own business with original designs. The income from her henna business, along with her job as a job recruiter has helped keep her afloat while still pursuing music."
