I'm a huge fan of "The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), and I love tonight's episode.

The 10th-season premiere is one of my favorites. Ever. One of the best of the 208 (including tonight's) that have aired.

I've seen it three times. The first time I watched it, I was at my desk in the office with earphones in — no doubt annoying my co-workers because I laughed so much.

The episode, titled "The Conjugal Conjecture," picks up where May's season finale left off. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) — who eloped in the Season 9 premiere — are planning a second wedding ceremony to mollify Leonard's mother, Beverly (Christine Baranski).

But Beverly is not happy when her ex-husband, Alfred (Judd Hirsch), and Sheldon's mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf) go back to their hotel together — and neither is Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

We also meet Penny's mother, Susan (Katey Sagal) and brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer), for the first time.

(By the way, Sagal played Cuoco's mom in the 2002-05 sitcom "Eight Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.)

Susan is embarrassed because Randall is just out of jail, but nobody else seems as bothered by Randall's meth-dealing past. Including Penny and her father, Wyatt (Keith Carradine).

This stuff is a hoot. And there's a very funny B story (also a continuation from the last episode) in which an Air Force officer (Dean Norris) is trying to contact Howard (Simon Helberg) — and Howard is panicked.

When they get to the ceremony … I don't want to give anything away, but Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) is hysterically funny.

Maybe we've become so accustomed to "The Big Bang Theory" being so funny over the past nine seasons that it doesn't get the credit it deserves anymore. This remains a huge amount of fun — and filled with big laughs.
