Chelsea Clinton will introduce her mother, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who will be the first woman ever to accept the presidential nomination of a major America political party at the Democratic National Convention.

CNN, C-SPAN Fox New Channel and MSNBC have coverage pretty much all day long; PBS/Ch. 7 has scheduled three hours from 6-9 p.m.; CBS/Ch. 2, ABC/Ch. 4 and NBC/Ch. 5 each have scheduled an hour from 8-9 p.m.

• Also tonight, it's the MLS All-Star Game (5:30 p.m., ESPN). Which, like all all-star games, is meaningless.

Real Salt Lake will be represented by Kyle Beckerman, but if I cheer for anyone, I'll cheer for their opponents — Arsenal FC of the English Premier League.
