"BrainDead" (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) is a weird, entertaining new series that's sort of a cross between "The West Wing" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers."

From the creators of "The Good Wife," this is an inside-Washington-politics drama that features alien bugs crawling in people's heads and taking over their bodies. Except for the ones whose brains explode.

Yes, it's strange. But I've seen three episodes, and I'm intrigued. I'll keep watching this summer series.

Also tonight's it's Game 5 of the NBA Finals (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 5). Golden State hosts and leads the best-of-seven series 3-1, so with a win tonight over Cleveland the Warriors can claim their second-straight title.
