Hockey season could come to an end tonight in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals (6 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5).

Pittsburgh leads the best-of-seven series 3-1, and the Penguins are hosting San Jose.

If the first four games are any indication, at least there will be a bit more suspense than the dull-to-date NBA Finals and its back-to-back blowouts. The margin in each of the first three games of the NHL finals was a single goal; and Game 4 was competitive — the Pens won 3-1.
