Lucille Ball died 27 years ago, but CBS has pulled big ratings by colorizing old episodes of "I Love Lucy." The latest pair of episodes — airing Friday at 7 p.m. on Ch. 2 — first aired in October 1955.

Lucy and Ethel (Vivian Vance) steal John Wayne's footprints from Grauman's Chinese Theater; then Ricky (Desi Arnaz) gets Wayne to help out when Lucy and Ethel break the cement block. It's classic.

At the opposite end of the television spectrum, it's the premiere of "Preacher" (11 p.m. Sunday, AMC) — the ultra-violent, gross and amusing adaptation of the comic books in which a half-demon/half-angel entity merges with a preacher … and all hell breaks loose.

When I watched the attached clip, I laughed out loud. (For real.) At a 61-year-old TV show that I've seen before.

How can you not love Lucy?
