Two series about very different young women air their season finales tonight — "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" will definitely be back next season; CBS has yet to decide if "Supergirl" will.

• "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30) has been the surprise delight of the season. No, it's not for everyone — but this musical/romantic comedy has been wonderful. And star Rachel Bloom is great.

In tonight's episode, Rebecca tries to patch things up with Paula; figure out her relationship with Greg; decide how she feels about Josh — and her world is turned upside down at Jayma's wedding.

• "Supergirl" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) has had a good season … but not a great season. There have been some really good episodes, and some that were just sort of average.

The best episode was the one that featured The Flash (Grant Gustin), and — at least for me — that may be the biggest flaw of "Supergirl." It's not as good as "The Flash."

In tonight's episode, Supergirl's enemies plot to destroy every person on the planet.
