In this week's episode of the medical drama "Code Black" (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), New York Giants Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. comes to the ER to convince his stubborn high school football coach (Beau Bridges) to have life-saving surgery.

Yeah, this kind of stunt hasn't helped the show. I've tried to like "Code Black," but it's not the "ER" that CBS was hoping it would be.
