"Angel from Hell" (8:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) is supposed to be a comedy about a strange woman (Jane Lynch, "Glee") who may or may not be a guardian angel to a high-strung young doctor (Maggie Lawson, "Two and a Half Men"). But comedies are supposed to be funny. And this one is not.

It's actually sort of annoying, and rather painful to watch.

Too bad.
