For a show entering its seventh season, "The Middle" (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) has never gotten the attention or acclaim it deserves. But it's a very good sitcom that delivers laughs from one of TV's most believable families.

In tonight's season premiere, Sue (Eden Sher) is getting ready to head off to college. Which worries her father, Mike (Neil Flynn), a lot more than it worries her mother, Frankie (Patricia Heaton). And just plain annoys her brother, Axl (Charlie McDermott), who attends the same college.

Also tonight, "South Park" (11 p.m., Comedy Central) does what you knew it would do — it lampoons Donald Trump. In this week's episode, Mr. Garrison is fed up with undocumented immigrants, and proposes building a wall to keep them out.
