"The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) throws its second wedding — Leonard and Penny follow Howard and Bernadette down the aisle, although this time it's an elopment to Las Vegas.

At the same time, Sheldon and Penny have broken up.

Once again this year, "Big Bang" is airing on Mondays until the end of October, when Thursday Night Football ends on CBS and the show moves back to Thursdays.

Also tonight, it's the Season 2 premiere of "Gotham" (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13). I was sort of iffy on this show in Season 1, although it found itself midway through the season and turned out much better episodes.

Season 2 gets off to a very strong start. It's an excellent episode.

Bruce finds a secret in his father's ofice at Wayne Manor and new villains are introduced, Bruce explores secrets from his father's office; and two newcomers are befriended by inmates from Arkham.
