Denis Leary ("Rescue Me") returns to series TV in "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" (11 p.m., FX) — which is pretty much what the title indicates.

Leary stars as an ex-rock star whose career and life have fallen apart. But a quarter century after he fell from fame, he gets a second shot as a songwriter for a talented young singer.

If you're a Leary fan, you'll like this a lot. Maybe even if you're not a Leary fan.
