It's a bad night for producer/writer Kevin Williamson. The man behind the "Scream" movies, "Dawson's Creek" and "The Vampire Diaries" has not one but two series that are breathing their last.

Because their ratings are bad. Because they're terrible shows.

No one is safe — not even the viewer — in the series finale of the wretched "The Following" (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13) — which, mercifully, has been canceled.

And there's a stunning revelation that not much of anybody cares about in the series finale of the equally awful "Stalker" (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), which has also been canceled.

Elsewhere on TV …

"2 Broke Girls" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Max and Caroline try to retrieve Sophie's wedding dress from airport customs. (Season finale)

"Dancing with the Stars" (7 pm., ABC/Ch. 4): The finalists compete. A winner will be declared on Tuesday.

"The Voice" (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The final four singers perform. A winner will be declared on Tuesday.

"Mike & Molly" (7:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Carl and Victoria's nasty breakup means Mike havs to tell Carl he's uninvited from his and Molly's anniversary cruise. (Season finale)

"The Bachelorette" (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): There are two bachelorettes and 25 guys this time around. (Season premiere)

"NCIS: Los Angeles" (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The team goes undercover in Moscow. (Season finale)

"The Night Shift" (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): A pair of snipers terrorize San Antonio. (Season finale)
